Communication from Air France:
There has been an update on regulations to enter France – please see below:
Requirements to enter France as a final destination have been updated on July 18, 2021: - Fully vaccinated travelers (EMA-recognized*) may now enter France without performing a PCR test from any kind of country (green/orange/red) Furthermore, coming from South Africa (red country), a compelling reason is no longer required, no 7-day self-isolation is required anymore, and no Antigen test required upon arrival for fully vaccinated passengers They must still complete a Sworn Statement that they do not have Covid-19 - A PCR test is not required to exit South Africa
(*Pfizer / Comirnaty / Moderna / AstraZeneca / Vaxzevria / Covishield / Janssen) Vaccinated travelers must present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate demonstrating that at least 28 days have elapsed since the first dose of Janssen vaccine or 7 days have elapsed since the second dose of the Pfizer-Biontech, AstraZeneca or Moderna vaccine or 14 days since the first dose of these vaccines if the passenger holds proof that they previously have been infected with Covid-19. As a reminder, if travellers are not fully vaccinated, they still need the following to enter France as a final destination: • A negative PCR Test or negative Antigen test not older than 48 hours prior to departure • Antigen test on arrival • 10 days quarantine controlled by health and safety officials • A Sworn Statement confirming that they do not have Covid-19 • A completed Travel Certificate for access to French territory with compelling reason
We look forward to welcoming you back to our sunny shores
