INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TRAVEL UPDATE // 6 OCTOBER 2020

South Africa's borders are officially OPEN to all Business Travel from ALL countries as of 1 October 2020!

It is with immense relief that we can now, with certainty, and after having gained clarity confirm that South Africa is open for business.

After speaking to our Department of Home Affairs today, we can confirm that international production is now welcome back in SA. In broad strokes, the same procedures as you were used to before can now once again be followed.

There are of course some directly Covid-related conditions which include :

1. The traveller will require a Certified Covid – negative PCR test. Signed and dated by a medical professional and not older than 72 hrs from travel.

2. We have to apply for you to travel to SA on business, this takes approximately 48 hours, but we see no issues with this. Specialist Visas will take between 5 - 10 working days.

3. You will require travel insurance and proof of accommodation in writing with you at the port of entry.

4. You will need to download the SA Covid 19 app when you land.
